Jasmine Te Hira


Jasmine Te Hira (Te Rarawa, Ngāpuhi, Aitu/Cook Islands, Devonshire/England) is an Arts Educator based in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. Te Hira’s moving image and installation practice explores ideas about the environment, whakapapa, time, memory and perception.

She completed a Bachelor of Design in Contemporary Arts at Unitec Institute of Technology in 2015 and recently graduated with a Diploma in Te Reo Māori Language Proficiency at Te Wānanga Takiura o Ngā Kura Kaupapa Māori o Aotearoa. Now, Te Hira is working on her Masters while continuing her work in the arts sector.
